What time does bookings close?
- Bookings for the following day will close at 11h00
- Bookings will be attended to during office hours (08h30 - 16h00) - For departures more than 48 Hours in advance.
- Bookings for the weekend close at 11h00 on Fridays.
How long are quotations valid for?
Quotations are valid for 30 Days.
Does passenger transport include VAT?
According to SARS VAT404 form under section 7.3, page 51-52, the supply of passengers on road or by rail is exempt from VAT.
When should our trip be paid in full?
All buses are to be paid in full 48 hours before departure time.
What does the quoted price include?
The quoted price includes the use of a driver, fuel, toll expenses and full comprehensive public liability insurance.
Are all trips quoted as return trips?
Yes, all costs are based on return/round trips unless specified otherwise.
How long does the full-day rate account for?
- The full day-rate accounts for an 8-hour period of usage. (For trips booked between 06H00 - 20H00).
- Trips exceeding the 8-hour period of usage i.e. Bus departs at 06H00 and only returns at 18H00 (12 Hours of usage) will incur extra charges.
- Trips booked between or running over 20H00 to 06H00 will incur extra charges for driver night out and overtime costs.
Are your quotations subject to change?
It should be noted that our quotations are subject to revision pending receipt of a complete itinerary.
Who assumes liability for any damages arising from the actions of passengers during the trip?
The undersigned party accepting the quotation assumes liability for any damages arising from the actions of passengers during the trip.
Who is accountable for any items misplaced or left behind on vehicles during a trip?
TAG Passenger Services and its staff cannot be held accountable for any items misplaced or left behind on our vehicles. It is the responsibility of each passenger to ensure that he or she takes full responsibility of their possessions while onboard our vehicles.
In the unlikely event of any injuries to myself or damages to my property, what are the implications thereof?
Under no circumstances shall either party be liable to the other for any indirect, special, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages.
Who is held accountable for delays caused by load shedding or passengers?
TAG Passenger Services and its staff cannot be held accountable for any delays caused by load shedding or passengers.
Does TAG Passenger Services reserve the right to make use of sub-contractors for the provision of service?
Yes, TAG Passenger Services reserves the right to make use of sub-contractors for the provision of services.
What is your bookings cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy dictates that:
- A 50% cancellation fee will be charged if a booking is cancelled 48 Hours before date of departure of your trip.
- A 100% cancellation fee will be charged if a booking is cancelled on the day of the trip.
- Trips cancelled /postponed due to bad weather will result in a 100% cancellation fee on the day.
What happens in the event where information provided for the quotation is incorrect?
In cases where obvious miscalculation in costs or inaccurate information was provided, TAG Passenger Services reserves the right to rectify costing.
